At Kids Moving Ahead, we help children be successful at both home and school. Our mission is to help kids grow and develop to their full potential through innovative therapeutic intervention and family support.

Children have fun in an environment that is rich with sensory experiences while making gains in many areas of development:

  • Sensory processing, sensory integration and self regulation

  • Fine motor skills, including upper body and hand strengthening, refining pencil grasp, improving handwriting, scissor skills and more

  • Gross motor skills, including balance, motor planning, bilateral skills, core and postural strengthening and ball skills

  • Activities of Daily Living including: dressing, buttoning, shoe tying and feeding

  • Handwriting, primarily using Handwriting without Tears

  • Visual motor and visual perceptual skills

  • Play skills

  • Attention and organizational skills

  • Social and emotional development

Ms. Hubner's Orinda clinic is spacious and inviting. There is both a large indoor and outdoor area.
